Q - Are ALL the best IT jobs in Dublin?
A - not at all!
It can sometimes appear that all the best IT jobs in Ireland are in Dublin. Trawl through the first page of jobs on any of the main players in the jobs board market in Ireland and most of the jobs listed will be in Dublin. However the reality is that with some careful searching, and by talking to the right recruiter, there are some great career opportunities for IT professionals across Ireland, and not just in Dublin. For example I’m currently hiring IT professionals in Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Clare and Galway.
Ireland is unique in that a good third of the working population of the entire country is based in just one location - the great Dublin area, and sometimes candidates looking for the next IT job OUTSIDE of Dublin can get frustrated seeing all the jobs in Dublin.
