Devops Engineer
Our client is an exciting smart energy management company with a global reach. Their Irish office is based in Castletroy, Limerick. Due to continued growth, they are now hiring a Devops Engineer to join their team in Limerick. The role is hybrid, with 2 days per week based in the Limerick office and 3 days per week remote. This role will involve working in a small multi-functional team.
You will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining secure and efficient cloud and IoT solutions for Energy Operating System apps. You will collaborate closely with development, operations, and security teams to integrate best practices into every stage of the development lifecycle.
This role will include DevOps Implementation design, implementation, and maintaining DevOps processes and practices to ensure the seamless integration of security into development, deployment, and operations workflows, automating processes using configuration management tools, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) frameworks, and Incident Response and Threat Detection.

Candidate Profile:
- Proven experience (3 years) in DevOps
- Background in software development, or system administration roles.
- Strong technical expertise in cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud).
- Excellent scripting and programming skills (e.g., JavaScript / TypeScript, Python, Bash) for automation and tool development.
- Experience deploying and managing SDLC automation tools (e.g., Jenkins, Ansible, Git / Bitbucket, Robot Framework)
- Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess complex issues, prioritize tasks, and drive resolution.
- Native level fluency in spoken English.
- Candidates must be currently based in Ireland and be able and willing to reside in Limerick.
- EC passport or a current Irish Stamp 4 work visa required.
