Full Stack Developer

 

We are a world leading financial services group, and due to continued expansion, we have an immediate requirement for a Full Stack Developer. Widely recognised as one of the premier firms to work for, this is an exciting opportunity to fast forward your career! This is a full time permanent role, it is a hybrid role based in our state of the art offices in Shannon in Cunty Clare. Attractive salary and full benefits on offer.

 

Role:
The developer will work on the design and development of key internal financial applications, liaising with business partners and IT colleagues. The role will also involve end user support, application design and development, implementation, testing and deployment.

Responsibilities:

• Design low maintenance sustainable and scalable software solutions to meet business requirements.
• Build software solutions using best practises and standards.
• Develop a clean code base and work with the test team.
• Collaborate with IT colleagues from Architecture, Infrastructure, OnShore & OffShore Development, Test and Desktop Support.
• Support business users through User Acceptance Testing.
• Coordinate with the business users who test and evaluate applications, and resolve software issues, in conjunction with developers and testers where appropriate.
• Ensure compliance with all organisational, legal and regulatory requirements and standards including SOX compliance and Security.

Candidate profile:

• Educated to a degree level in a relevant subject area.
• Fluent spoken English, be currently based in Ireland and be already authorised to work freely for any employer in Ireland.
• Career level is 4 – 8 years’ experience, with at least 4 years professional experience as a full stack software developer, gained in a similar fast moving enterprise scale environment.
• Strong .net using .net Core and React JS required.
• Prior experience with Visual Studio, .net and GIT required.
• Experience of working in an Agile development environment.
• Good understanding of databases.

(Please note that role is hybrid, with Mon-Thursday working onsite in Shannon and Fridays remote).
