AX Support Engineer (Dublin OR Limerick)

 

 

Our client is looking to hire an AX Support Engineer to join their Business Technology Team. This is a full-time permanent role, it is a hybrid role and can be based either in Limerick or Dublin.

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

• Provide technical and functional knowledge of the development technologies.
• Design and develop modifications to standard Microsoft Dynamics applications.
• Follow development best practices and ensure that modifications are well documented.
• Create and develop design specifications including gap/fit analysis documentation.
• Design, develop and execute data migration processes and integrations to existing systems.
• Perform software customization/development services.
• Evaluate necessary upgrade customizations for new versions of Dynamics applications as they are released.
• Work with QA / functional team to design, test, and implement customizations.
• Provide end-user training and end-user support.
• Perform mentoring and/or coaching to team members and share knowledge among all team members.

 

 

Candidate Profile:

 

The ideal candidate will have strong analytical abilities, be technically skilled, and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

 

• Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work in a dynamic / agile environment.
• Excellent teamworking skills.
• Ability to learn business processes and apply that knowledge to system design/configuration.
• 3-5 years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012.
• Experience with enterprise level ERP systems. 
• Willing to learn new technologies.
• EC passport or current Irish work authorisation required/essential.
• Total fluency in spoken English.
• Full clean driving license desirable.
