Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer

Our client is a dynamic and innovative company who develop leading edge IoT technology solutions for the corporate sector. Due to continued growth they are now hiring a Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer to join their join their team in Limerick. This role can be based anywhere in Ireland. This role is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious, highly professional software developer to join a rapidly expanding company operating in a high growth market. Attractive salary is on offer for the right person.

 

You will work at the bleeding edge of AWS cloud platforms. You will develop responsive, instantly scalable, and intelligently configurable applications and use the best-of-breed automated dev-ops tools. You will develop highly efficient, extensible and secure applications on the cloud. The project includes the opportunity to rearchitect and extend a suite of auditing and sales tools designed to increase energy efficiency and “grid edge” and load forecasting.

 

Candidate profile:

You are comfortable working with all kinds of stakeholders, including customers, managers, hardware developers, architects, field engineers etc. You have excellent spoken and written English and you have strong logical and creative problem-solving skills. Technically you have at least four years experience working with AWS SAM Stack. You have experience of SOLID Design Principles and Design Patterns.

 

Experience any of the following is desirable (but not required):

 

• Networking: VPN, VPC, ELB - Elastic Beanstalk
• Compute: EC2, Lambda, AppSync
• Storage: S3, EBS & Disaster Recovery
• Data: DynamoDB, RDS, ElastiCache Redshift & SQL
• DevOps: CI/CD - CloudFormation, CodePipline, GitHub Actions
• Admin & Security: AD Config, CloudWatch
• Python, Typescript, REACT, or C#
• GIT 
• Docker & Kubernetes
