Technology Sales Executive, Limerick

 

 

Our client is a dynamic and innovative technology firm who provide leading edge technology solutions for the corporate sector. Due to continued growth they are now hiring an ambitious Technology Sales Executive to join their team in Limerick. This role can be based anywhere in Ireland, with regular travel to Limerick for training and meetings.

 

This role is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious, highly professional business development professional to enter a rapidly expanding company operating in a high growth market. Attractive base salary and commission structure on offer for the right person.

 

Your role will be to develop a profitable opportunity pipeline and manage deal stages on a CRM system from introduction to closure. You will identify customer needs in existing and potential customers and articulate and communicate these ideas to the product development team. You will liaise with the Marketing department to optimise product and solution marketing messages and you will assess customer drawings and specifications and prepare detailed proposal and quotation documentation.  

 

Candidate profile:

You are educated to degree level and you have excellent communication and customer service skills. You have a good ability to quickly understand and articulate customer needs and technical requirements. You are highly motivated with the drive to achieve and exceed sales targets. As an experienced technology sales executive, you have a proven track record in achieving sales targets (minimum 3 years B2B sales required.)

 

As this will be a complex technical sales process, you should have a broad background in a relevant sector (eg hardware/electrical/FM/industrial automation etc), allied with a strong commercial business awareness and have a real interest in technology.

 

You must be comfortable making dozens of calls per day, generating interest, qualifying leads and closing sales and then working closely with the customer to ensure they are happy with the product/service. You should have the ability to quickly get to grips with the technical elements of the business and have the ability to work closely with both new and existing clients, and to use a solution sales approach.

 

You must have total fluency in spoken and written English, have a full valid Irish work permit and have a full clean driving license.
